Intimate Vows & Golden Views

Asia & Franklin - Golden Hour is one of my favorite times to capture a couple with the quiet joy between them that was effortless to document. It was the perfect pause in a whirlwind day, allowing them to simply breathe and soak in the reality of being newlyweds.

There are some wedding days that leave you absolutely breathless, and Asia and Franklin’s celebration this past weekend was exactly that. From the moment the sun broke over the Suffolk Obici House to the last dance of the night, every second was filled with raw emotion, heartfelt moments, and undeniable joy. Getting to document this chapter of their story was an honor, and I am so excited to share a glimpse into their gorgeous wedding day.

As we began Asia’s  portraits, she was nothing short of stunning—a true vision of elegance that seemed to stop time. But the real magic happened in the heartfelt, unscripted moments in between the poses. Whether it was the quiet, tearful embrace shared with her mother or the joyful, whispered asides with her sister, there was an undeniable soulfulness to the afternoon. Witnessing the way these three leaned into one another with such tenderness made it clear that her beauty is deeply rooted in the love of her family.

Being there to witness those raw, emotional connections—balanced against her breathtaking bridal look—felt like capturing the very heartbeat of the entire celebration.

A church wedding,  a space that felt both timeless and deeply personal. The focus remained entirely on the small circle of family gathered in the pews. There is something so sacred about a couple exchanging vows in such a beautiful setting, witnessed only by those who matter most. It was a perfect harmony of elegance and intimacy—the church providing a backdrop to the quiet, heartfelt warmth of a family united in celebration."

When it came time for their first dance, the rest of the world seemed to fall away. Surrounded by the people who have known them since the beginning, they shared a moment that was effortless and entirely their own. It was the perfect end to such an intentional day—a relaxed, heart-centered evening focused on good food, close family, and the joy of finally being husband and wife.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the room during the first dances with mom and daughter. Seeing the tender connection and the quiet, proud smiles shared between them brought a whole new level of emotion to the evening. These dances were such a beautiful tribute to the family bonds that anchored the entire day—a reminder that this wedding wasn't just the union of two people, but the celebration of a beautifully woven family.

To the new Mr. and Mrs., it was such an honor to be the one behind the lens for your intimate celebration. Your love is as beautiful as it is sincere, and I’m so grateful to have witnessed the beginning of this next chapter. Congratulations to a truly wonderful couple—may your life together be just as radiant as the sun setting on your wedding day!
