WEDDING EXPERIENCE

FAQS

frequently asked questions

WHAT IS THE BOOKING PROCESS?

CONSULTATION
If you would like, we can meet in person or have a Google video c all to get to know each other! Picking a photographer is such a personal decision. So I want to make sure that you feel like we are a perfect fit! We will also talk about what a wedding experience looks like and how I can best serve you!

BOOKING
If you decide that it's meant to be, I will send you a quote & contract to look over. From there, you can sign the contract, and make an initial payment of 15-20%. After that, you should be on the lookout for your Bridal Guide Magazine in your email!

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?

Every wedding in unique (which is a good thing!). But, you will receive around 1000 high resolution & social media images from an 8 Hour wedding day

DO I GET PRINTING RIGHTS TO MY GALLERY?

Yes! I WANT you to be able to print, use, and share your images! You can order prints right in your gallery, or you can print your images wherever you would like! If someone requires you to have a print-release, just let me know! P.S. You do not have to pay extra for images. You get them all

CAN WE CUSTOMIZE THE WEDDING PACKAGE?

For sure! You can add hours or a wedding album to your collection! If you have other requests, just let me know

WHAT IS THE WEDDING MAGAZINE MENTIONED ON YOUR WEBSITE?

The wedding magazine is a online editorial of all things wedding and wedding photography specifically for my couples! Some of the topics include: Your Engagement Session, Sample Timelines, Ceremony Prep & Tips, Family Formal Lists, Portrait Locations, Rainy Wedding Days, Reception Planning, and more!

DO YOU MAKE WEDDING DAY TIMELINES?

Absolutely!  I work closely with you and your planner to ensure we have enough time to capture all special moments such as Bridal Portraits, First look and Golden Hour to name few.

HOW MANY HOURS WILL WE NEED?

I usually suggest number of hours based on the number of locations and photographers. Will we go to a different location to take bride and groom pictures?

Here’s the breakdown I generally go by:
1 Location (Including Getting Ready, Ceremony, & Reception) = 8 Hours
2 Locations = 10 Hours
3 Locations = 14 Hours

The more locations you have, the more drive time (which includes getting people and things in and out of cars) there is. So, it’s always nice to have some buffer time. However, these are just suggestions, not hard and fast rules.

Also, if you have something special planned that you want to make sure I am there for, just let me know and we can figure out your perfect timeline!

WE ARE NOT GOOD AT POSING OURSELVES.  WILL YOU HELP?

I take care of all the posing! I will walk you through exactly what to do, but give small prompts that keep things fun and genuine! So, sit back, relax, and have Enjoy!

WHAT IS AN UPGRADED ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

An upgraded engagement session consists of 2-3 locations with 2-3 outfit changes. We can travel to 2 different cities even and ensure we get the locations we both agree on.

WHAT IS YOUR EXPERIENCE AND WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU HAVE?

We are a husband and wife team that has been capturing weddings together since 2020. Prior to teaming up, we were both into photography and ran different projects on our own.

Our equipment is all Nikon (I chuckle as I write this) we used to have Canon and Nikon but I converted him :).  Now, we both have Z8's and for some that do not know the specifications, I can print your images life size and the quality does not deteriorate.  Here are some reviews to explain it more.

"widely considered a top-tier mirrorless camera for wedding photography, praised for its "insane" autofocus, 45.7 MP image quality, and silent, fast performance" per Google

"Yes, you can absolutely print images from a Nikon Z8 at "life-size" (1:1 or large format) thanks to its 45.7-megapixel sensor" per Google
