From Historic Gardens to Bay Breezes: Breeanna & Patrick’s Engagement Story

When we started Breeanna and Patrick’s engagement session, the forecast wasn't exactly on our side. With cold air moving in and a persistent threat of rain, we weren't sure what the day would hold. But we decided to embrace the adventure, and I am so glad we did!

A Morning of Charm at The Hermitage

We began our morning at the Hermitage Museum and Gardens in Norfolk. This waterfront estate provided the perfect backdrop for Breeanna and Patrick to settle in. Like many couples, they started a little nervous about being in front of the lens, but that quickly faded.

We had so many funny moments as they learned the "art" of posing and twirling. Their cute chemistry and genuine laughs made it easy to capture those effortless, candid shots that truly show who they are as a couple.

Chasing the Clear Skies to the Bay

As the day progressed, the clouds finally broke. We finished the session on the Virginia Beach Bay, and the timing couldn't have been more perfect. We were met with high tide and a crisp, clear evening sky that felt like a reward for braving the morning's chill.

The calm bay waters and the expansive horizon at Chic's Beach provided a completely different, serene vibe. Seeing them huddle together against the cold evening breeze made for some of the most romantic, intimate images of the entire day.
